PUREdiamond
The basis of all life - carbon - becomes a diamond.
Unique and Forever.
Semper Fides creates diamonds from the carbon of our animal companions
Semper Fides creates your personal diamond from a carbon source (ash, hair, or… ) – the PUREdiamond. Each of these diamonds is unique in itself and as unique as the four-legged friend from which it was created.
We only need 5 grams of hair or 300 grams of cremation ash for your pet diamond. The basis of our all life – carbon – becomes a unique diamond for all time.
Whether in your lifetime or from the past, we create your memorial diamond, from ashes, hair or feathers. We invite you to find out more…
PUREdiamond – more than just a diamond!
PUREdiamond - the memorial diamond
Your personal pet memorial diamond is created exclusively from the carbon of the ashes, hair or feathers given to us, for example from your dog, cat, horse or bird.
To preserve the uniqueness of your diamond, we do not add carbon from other sources!
If you do not have at least 5 grams of hair or feathers or 300 grams of ash (equivalent to approx. 10 kilograms live weight), there are various ways to realize the growth of your PUREdiamond:
The basis of all life – carbon – becomes a diamond. Unique and for all time. The diamond is the only man-made gemstone that is created from the body’s own organic elements.
So far we have always found an individual solution! You can download the PUREdiamond information flyer here: PUREdiamond – more than a diamond!
The animal companion diamond - What are our bodies made of?
Our bodies and that of our four-legged friends consists predominantly of carbon (C), oxygen (O), hydrogen (H), nitrogen (N), calcium (Ca), phosphorus (P), potassium (K), sulphur (S), chlorine (Cl), sodium (Na) and magnesium (Mg). All other elements are only present in the body in trace amounts. The proportion of carbon in the organism is around 20 percent by weight.
* Semper Fides diamonds correspond chemically and physically to natural diamonds.
What elements are gemstones made of? And where do the elements in man-made gemstones come from?
Gemstone | Basic elements | Where do the elements come from? |
---|---|---|
Diamond* | C | Carbon - e.g. from the hair coat or ash |
Sapphire & Ruby | Al2O3 | Aluminum - from industrial extraction with atmospheric oxygen |

PUREdiamond - your personal unique piece
The PUREdiamond grows from the individual carbon source provided to us. The properties of your personal unique piece – such as the degree of purity, the proportions and the weight – are formed during the individual growth phase.
You determine the basic color of your PUREdiamond. The subtle nuances of your personal PUREdiamond ultimately depend on the individual carbon source and the growth process used.
The color of a diamond is created by the incorporation of a few individual elements into the diamond crystal lattice, such as nitrogen or boron. The difference in the incorporation of a few particles leads to large differences in color intensity.
Thanks to the specially developed processes, even inclusions from the air are prevented during the formation of white and blue diamonds. Sometimes, however, minimal trace elements from the carbon source are incorporated into the crystal lattice alongside the carbon and can be found in the diamond as inclusions. These particularly reflect the uniqueness of your diamond.
The majority of Semper Fides diamonds have a purity level higher than SI1 (Small Inclusions), although this cannot be guaranteed due to the special origin of the carbon. We can produce white, blue and yellow diamonds for you. Slight color nuances may occur during the growth of the white PUREdiamond.
The different processes that lead to the respective color are associated with different work steps and costs for us. Please contact us for further details.
