We guarantee that your personalised memorial diamond is made exclusively from the carbon in the cremation ashes you have provided, or from your pet’s hair or feathers!

You will receive a certificate from us confirming the authenticity of your memorial diamond made from animal hair or ashes, as well as detailing the processes involved. You are also welcome to obtain a certificate from an independent gemmological institute, subject to you covering the costs.

How can I keep the memory of my pet alive forever?
What are the advantages of a memorial diamond over a traditional urn?
Whilst an urn preserves memories, a PUREdiamond makes them wearable – close to your heart. The decision to choose a pet diamond stems from a desire for closeness rather than distance. Your unique PUREdiamond can be worn every day. It becomes a part of your life – just as your beloved pet once was.
Will the individuality of my faithful companion be preserved in the diamond?
Yes. Just like your companion, the PUREdiamond is entirely unique. The unique composition of the fur, coat or ashes entrusted to us results in a one-of-a-kind combination of colour, crystal shape and structure during the creation of the memorial diamond. Every PUREdiamond is therefore one of a kind and just as unique as your companion and your bond with them.
Can I mix my pet’s hair with my own?
Yes. We need a total of at least 5 grams of hair. If you wish, the carbon from both sources can be incorporated into the same growth process – as a very special symbol of your bond! Unique and Forever.
Charity projects
Through the auctions of the ‘Satchmo Diamond’ with proceeds of €14,000, the ‘Goldfever Diamond’ with proceeds of €27,000 and the auction of the ‘Shutterfly Diamond’ with proceeds of €25,000, we were able to make an important contribution to supporting the work of German Cancer Aid. Thanks to the auctions and the activities surrounding this project, the total proceeds rose to over €100,000.

Cancer is a disease that affects us all. Having been personally affected, we have decided to help German Cancer Aid in the fight against cancer. In addition to financial support, it is important to us to inform the public about cancer, increase awareness of preventive measures and support projects that improve diagnosis and treatment options. Because if detected early enough, cancer is usually curable. Half of all adults and three out of four children can be cured today. German Cancer Aid has made a significant contribution to this success.
The “Satchmo diamond”
Thomas Peter (managing director of Semper Fides Diamonds GmbH) and Kerstin Becker met during a tournament in Brelingen (Wedemark) in 2006. During their conversation, the idea of a ‘charity diamond’ in aid of the German Children’s Cancer Aid Foundation was born. The origin of this idea was the death of Ms Becker’s 30-year-old sister-in-law from cancer and her legacy: her four-legged friend ‘Zampl’. There was immediate consensus that they should do something together. Ms Becker contacted Ms Winter-Schulze to present her with the idea of the ‘Satchmo diamond’. She immediately agreed and, after a conversation with Ms Werth, Satchmo’s hair was diligently collected.
The ‘Satchmo Diamond’ is a 0.5-carat green commemorative diamond created from the coat of our double world champion Satchmo at Semper Fides. This unique, distinctive and nature-identical diamond was auctioned off in collaboration with Isabell Werth, the Riders Tour and Semper Fides, raising €14,000 for Deutsche KinderKrebshilfe.

Why continue with the ‘Gold Fever Diamond’?
Every year, over 400,000 people in Germany are newly diagnosed with cancer. One in three families is affected by this disease – and Ludger Beerbaum is no exception: his mother died of cancer. This is yet another reason for him to step up his commitment to German Cancer Aid. It therefore seemed only natural to create another commemorative diamond, auction it off for a good cause and donate the proceeds to German Cancer Aid.
This golden-yellow 1.02-carat commemorative diamond was created from the carbon found in the coat of Ludger Beerbaum’s successful horse ‘Goldfever’ – unique and unmistakable!

The “shutterfly diamond”
All good things come in threes! The charity campaign will conclude with the auction of the ‘Shutterfly Diamond’.
Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum and Shutterfly, the Becker family and Semper Fides had set themselves the goal of raising the total amount for the charity project to 100,000 euros for German Cancer Aid. The “Shutterfly Diamond” is a very special diamond – a blue and white memorial diamond (1.3 carats as a rough diamond, 0.51 carats as a brilliant-cut diamond) made from the coat of “Shutterfly” – it is not available for purchase in this form and size!
